IDENTIFIED BY NAME ON CONNING TOWER. TOWER APPEARS BROKEN AND HAS ALMOST CERTAINLY SLIPPED DOWN HEAVILY ON THE SEABED TO PORT. PRESSURE HULL REMAINS INTACT WITH LIST OF ABOUT 35DEGS TO PORT. DUCK'S TAIL IS MISSING. RUDDER IS MIDSHIPS AND UNDAMAGED. STBD PROP IS VISIBLE WITH WORN TIPS, PORT PROP BURIED. STBD SHAFT AND BRACKET INTACT WITH NO SIGNS OF DAMAGE. STBD AFT PLANE IS AT ZERO DEGS, PORT AFT NOT SEEN. ENGINE ROOM HATCH IS CLOSED. TOWER IS IN A POOR STATE WITH BOTH PERISCOPES IN PLACE AND RETRACTED. W/T MAST IN PLACE.
